Bugreports and feature requests go here
Uploaded a new chapter today and reordered it, and when it submitted some of the chapters went a bit wonky. Several of them don't list times (and thus the overall time says it's less than it actually is), and when I attempt to update it it…

The Joys of Noisegate.
I start with audacity's noise removal with standard settings, which I sample with the quietest ambient noise I can find in my track. This cleans up most of it. I still like to use a bit of noise gate on top of that though, with a quarter second…

Audiobooks should have an "Incomplete" option, for those still in progress.

Fallout Equestria: Heroes
Likewise with EN. When it's a character, and it fits, I try to keep them in, but for the most part I do my best to take them out of the narration. It's just my personal preference as well.

Production time
Ah, that side of things. That's usually my biggest problem starting out. Any time I start recording, I always feel like I'm messing up, and it takes me forever to get even the first few paragraphs out. Afterwards though, as I get more in…

Production time
For every hour or so of audio I record, the final length is roughly 30 minutes (this includes white space, gaps between the lines I record, which can be long in the initial). From there, the editing time itself has been gradually improving, as I…

ID3 tags - if you don't fill them, no one would
I do my best to develop standards from the get-go (using chains in Audacity for example, and presets in Windows Movie Maker), and they have helped to keep me consistent and speed up the process. The problem is that as I learn and improve more and mo…

Do you export straight from the program (Adobe Audition, if I recall)? If so, that's a pretty cool feature lol. I use Windows Movie Maker to convert the audio to video for YouTube, which has an option to upload from the program, but I still pre…

Yeah, I've tried out Vanilla before. Good for being open and free, and makes it easy to integrate. If he's minimalist, I'll bet the site front is a custom setup then. It's nice and pretty underneath hehe.

Funny thing that I found this. As a programmer, I considered a very similar idea a few months back, as a hub for MLP audiobook uploads and collaboration tools. I was too busy with other obligations to bother working on something like that, but I…

This has always been a major pet peeve of mine, but there was never really a place to vent my thoughts. Thanks for that =) On a related note, what dimensions do you guys use for album art?
